Bible Challenge 2007 – 2008

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Matthew 24:35).

To the Bible Challenge 2007 participants,

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (Galatians 1:3-5)

Amen!

Congratulations! We are almost there! We are running strong in the race set out before us!

We started the Bible Challenge 2007 on Easter 2007 (4/8/2007), and it has been my daily prayer that God would touch those who were and are participating. That His presence would be felt by all, and that He would work in you and through you for His glory.

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen
.” (Ephesians 3:16-21)

Amen!

Now, as we near the end of this particular journey, I want to look forward to the next. I pray you will join me once again for a Bible Challenge 2008!

For 2008 I plan to slow things down and incorporate more time for reflection, prayer, meditation, and study.

We will be doing a New Testament in a Year reading plan. Readings will be Monday through Friday with weekends open for reflection, prayer, meditation, and study.

The last reading of the 2007 challenge will be Sunday April 5.

The first reading of the 2008 challenge will be Monday April 6 (posted on Friday April 4), and will end with a final reading on April 7, 2009, less than a week before Easter 2009.
