Where is Academic Freedom: creation vs. evolution

Where Has Academic Freedom Gone?
Creation vs. Evolution

If the theory of evolution is just a theory then why are its proponents so religiously denying any criticism of the theory?

If the theory of evolution is so scientifically supported then why the dogmatic resistance to any scientific thinking that is critical of it?

If the theory of evolution is so unquestioningly solid then why not open the doors of academic freedom and allow it to stand on its own merit?

Because…

The theory of evolution is cracking under unbiased scientific scrutiny.

The theory of evolution is the biological building block of the Humanist Religion as defined in their manifesto. If evolution falls… so does the humanist. Unfortunately, most Americans do not realize that humanism is a religion funded and promoted in America's public schools by taxpayers' money. Illinois Governor 2006

Dearest Family, Friends, and free Americans,

I submit to you a plea to stop supporting the two party career politicians and restore power to “We the people!”

“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to separation.”

Our founding fathers had a dream. What we are taught in our government school system today is that our founding fathers rebelled against the King of England because of over taxation. But taxation is only one of a list of 28 (by my count) causes on the declaration of Independence to separate. The vast majority of the causes concern the King’s refusal to govern justly and efficiently, his Tyrannical mismanagement, and his refusal to acknowledge the colonies petitions to his authority. Thus they determined that “A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.”

It is my firm belief that politicians of our two party system, although they may start with noble intentions, serve only their own and their party’s ambitions. They make decisions that only serve to keep them and their party in power instead of leading our Nation to be a shining symbol of freedom and goodness. We have become a mockery to the world because our politicians make the popular issues priority instead of making tough leadership decisions and holding firm to our American Constitution. Illinois has the low title of most corrupt state government in the nation! This reflects directly on the people who continue to elect career politicians forged in the fires of the two party system.

My plea is simple.

First, pray for and encourage non-career leaders to risk the challenge of political office. And when someone with good character and motives steps forward, support and encourage them all the more.

Second, look for leaders outside of the established two party system. Voting for the lesser of two evils is a fallacy. It does not work. Yes, pulling your vote from the lesser evil may cause the greater to win, but the message will be heard. The people will no longer stand for career and party ambitions! It may take a few election cycles, but if you persevere in your convictions then goodness will win in the end.

Religious Censorship in America! Land of religious freedom?

A letter to Congressman Ray LaHood concerning the censorship of military chaplains:

Concerning the order that military chaplains not pray in the name of Jesus. What have we come to? Are Muslim chaplains prevented from invoking the name of Allah?

Consider this:
George Washington assigned chaplains to every regiment and required by order that every soldier unless they are fighting the British or marching guard duty will attend Divine services when the chaplain holds such meetings.

George Washington's first overall order to every officer and soldier of the Continental Army was, "I hope and trust that every officer and soldier will endeavor to live and act as becomes a Christian soldier defending the dearest rights and liberties of his country".

George Washington, before crossing the Delaware, gave an order to the troops in which he sites Psalms 2:7 and calls on the Divine help of God Almighty. Washington then sites Exodus 20:7 and orders "No swearing or cursing in the military because God will not bless our efforts while we break His laws."

Why have we strayed so far? The federal government of a free nation should set the example. Censoring people of faith is the wrong example!

"Political Correctness" and "Separation of Church and State" can not rewrite history! This country was founded by Christian pilgrims fleeing religious persecution in England. The same Christian pilgrims gave their lives in the revolution to establish a government that would defend and protect their religious freedoms. Our government is now betraying the very faith and values that it was born of!

I want you to know that I feel the current representation of our federal government and the judiciary in particular is losing [1] "the consent of the governed, -- That whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government..." Im asking you, Congressman LaHood, to please champion the religious rights and freedoms of military chaplains and all of the free people of Christian faith in this nation!
